Where to Eat in Philly: Emmy Squared

If I happen to go missing between the hours of 4:30 and 5:30 pm on a Tuesday afternoon, I can tell you where I will be: sitting alone at the bar at Emmy Squared. Maybe I’ll order a pizza, maybe I’ll have a glass of Rose, maybe I’ll be devouring the shaved Brussels salad. Maybe I’ll have all of the above.

When you have an extra hour somehow between work + pick up 💁🏽‍♀️ @emmysquaredpizza the shaved brussel salad is 👌🏼

Tucked away in Queen Village, a Detroit style pizzeria opened up conveniently across the street from where all the after school activities go down. Moms every where can rejoice. In fact, maybe I’ll start a mom club for Tuesday happy hour with just enough time for Emmy Squared snacks before we have to pick up the kids…mom jokes aside, their square shaped pizza is legit. Sandwiches served on Pretzel buns?! Emmy Squared you were made for Philly.

The restaurant itself is BEAUTIFUL. Good food with pretty asethetic? Right up my alley. Guys, I love being able to stuff my face appropriately with black and white detailed tiles and a bar almost too pretty to eat at. Grab the fam, your date, your BFF or yourself and go have a slice of heaven at 5th and Bainbridge. The only thing they don’t have? Coffee. So go hungry and order the waffle fries instead. Make them Zia.

Enjoy these iPhone shots. I go alone remember. That is until another mom joins me for happy hour and a big plate of waffle fries at Emmy Squared Philly 😉
