The Best Damn Meatball Recipe

- 1lb Ground Beef
- ½ cup bread crumbs
- 1 egg
- ¼ cup parmesan cheese, finely shredded
- 1 splash of Worcestershire Sauce
- ¼ cup onion, minced
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- fresh parsley, chopped
- fresh basil leaves, chopped
- ½ teaspoon dried oregano
- Salt and Pepper to taste
- 1 jar of homemade or store bought tomato sauce
- 1 tablespoon EVOO
- In a large mixing bowl place all ingredients in together, except for the tomato sauce.
- Mix through using your hands until all ingredients are evenly distributed. Knead together until consistent.
- Using your hands, form meatballs and place on a dish one by one until you have used all the mixture.
- Heat a large skillet over medium high heat and add 1 Tablespoon of EVOO.
- When the pan is hot, gently add in the meatballs.
- Brown on each side using tongs to rotate meatballs.
- In a large pot heat sauce to a simmer.
- Add browned meatballs.
- Cover and let simmer for 45 -60 mins.
- Meatballs should be cooked through while creating a deep flavorful simmered sauce.
- Serve over your favorite pasta.
