Top Must Have Beauty Products I Can’t Live Without

This post contains affiliate links.

I swear to you I have tried every single beauty product out there. I’ve bought out the beauty counter, the pharmacy, the ultra-luxe products and the CVS brands…I’ve…tried…them…all. After many years of searching for my favorite skin care and hair products, I’ve finally found the one’s that I have now been using for several years and would rather die than part with! Time to share the knowledge. I want to state this is my real life beauty routine – zero sponsorships here!

You guys know my hair is pretty much my identity. I like low maintenance styling, so my products need to be light and hands running through my hair effects for all those hair flips. As someone who colors her hair, all products need to protect the gorgeous color that Strand Salon works so hard to achieve.

From 20’s to 30’s my skin care needed a major upgrade and I have been a huge cult fan of newer to the skin care market, Sunday Riley. They feel amazing. Below I’ve listed a few pregnancy skin secrets too.

I would love to hear what beauty products you can’t live without and if you love my top pics too! I have linked all of the products for you to easily find (with most on Prime!) to my Amazon Page.

Sunday Riley Tidal Brightening Water Cream

You all know how important texture is in a moisturizer. There is no one size fits all moisturizer. I have combination skin and what I love about Tidal is the consistency. It goes on super light and feels amazing. I can’t rave enough about Sunday Riley products. I once wrote in to their customer service about a product I had purchased at Sephora and the team at Sunday Riley had shipped me out a new replacement product. Their customer service is amazing and when it comes to something important as your skin, that’s exactly who you want behind it.

Sunday Riley CEO Moisturizer

Lifestyle Blogger Chocolate & Lace shares her must have beauty productsThe CEO is like sunshine straight to your face. With vitamins C, E and antioxidants the formula is jam-packed to protect and repair. It’s thicker that the Tidal and has an unmistaken citrus scent that perks you up on tired mornings. I like to use both the C.E.O and Tidal for different seasons.

Sunday Riley Good Genes and Luna Oil

Talk about a brand who knows how to make your face both feel and look good. The brand recommends using these together but you can also use them totally separate.

The Good Genes is a Lactic Acid Treatment for skins texture, think treating sunspots or acne scars while the Luna Oil is a night oil with Retinol. Both feel good on which is why I usually stay away from most skin products. If you want to try these out I would recommend purchasing the Power Couple Duo that gives you smaller versions of each for a combo price. I’ve linked them all HERE on my Amazon Page. Hello…free shipping!

Both have been game changers for my 30 something, tired as a mother skin.

Davines NOUNOU Conditioner

If I had to choose only one hair care product for the rest if my life, this would be it. Everyone with medium to long hair knows, long hair is only great when its healthy and hydrated. You can use this as a mask once a week. I use it with every other wash. It’s ultra thick and smells amazing. This ultra deep conditioner usually lasts me about 3-4 months.

Milkshake Whipped Cream Leave-In Foam Conditioner

Lifestyle Blogger Chocolate & Lace shares her must have beauty products

I have been using Milkshake for years. It’s become as important to my life as water. Scratch that, it’s as important to my life as pasta. I use this on both mine and Bailey’s hair. We have the same texture hair but hers is super curly vs. my natural waves and it works well on both. Right after I’ve towel dried my hair, I flip my head over and work a palmful into my hair from the tips to the midsection. Then I’ll let air dry or use a blow dryer.

It’s usually the only product I use on my hair after washing. Milkshake smells exactly like it sounds, AMAZING. If there is one product on this list that applies to all and you try, this is it. Delicious AND beautiful. It’s $20, available on prime and I’ve linked it HERE for you. It lasts me 3-4 months and combined Bailey and I have a lot of hair!

Davines OI Shampoo

When it comes to shampoo’s I am all about the lather. I love this one for its weight and lather. It compliments well with my favorite conditioner listed above. Since I dye my hair, it’s ultra important that I have a shampoo that will protect my color. Definitely one to check out. I can not stress enough the importance of a good shampoo if you color your hair.

Clarisonic Mia 1 Sonic Facial Cleanser

I purchased my Clarisonic last year after the advice of an expert Esthetician during a facial. After researching both high and low-end Sonic Facial Cleansers, the Clarisonic was hands down the best reviewed and after owning one I can see why. I keep mine in the shower for easy exfoliation along the sides of my face, forehead and nose area. The cleansing tool is awesome for that deep clean feeling, fighting black heads and turning your skin cells over by buffing the dead cells away. It really primes your face for your favorite serums and moisturizers.

Body Shop Coconut Body Butter

Listen up Mommas and Mommas to be one day…TWO babies, not a single stretch mark. My body is nowhere near perfect after Mia but I’ve used the Body Shop Body Butters with both pregnancies and I don’t think it’s a coincidence. I credit zero stretch marks to religiously using the body butters every single day during pregnancy on my belly and body. During pregnancy I have used the Shea Butter and Coconut scents as they are ultra thick. My other favorite scent is British Rose. One tub will last you the 9 months during your pregnancy. I’ve linked it HERE. Slather on! Smell delicious. Keep your skin perfect, even after babies.

L’OCCITANE Hand Cream

Lifestyle Blogger Chocolate & Lace shares her must have beauty productsRight now this winter air is killing me. My hands have been super dry and that can be painful. I keep a travel size tube of L’Occitane hand cream in my bag at all times. If you’re a momma like me, you are washing your hands at least 100 times a day it a good hand cream is a must have. This is my go-to.

L’OCCITANE Beautifying Body Milk

Lifestyle Blogger Chocolate & Lace shares her must have beauty productsWhenever Spring decides to show back up, I will be using this all over my legs and body to pair with flirty spring skirts. The body milk is a silky lotion but what I love is the slight shimmer it gives your legs and body. Until summer comes in the Northeast and I get a tan, I need all the skin shimmer I can get! This is one of those items you use to feel pretty and treat yo’ self.

I would love to hear your beauty secrets. To check out any of mine listed above I have linked them all HERE on my Amazon Page as nothing is worse than hearing about a new product and not being able to find it. Beauty Simplified.
