Topgolf Mount Laurel, NJ

This post is in partnership with Topgolf however all opinions are my own. Great partnerships help me to bring great content to the blog and of course, transparency and your trust mean the world to me.

Although Philadelphia has much to offer, sometimes it’s nice to venture out for a different type of experience. This past weekend we took a quick ride out to Mount Laurel, New Jersey just a little ways over the Ben Franklin Bridge, to check out Topgolf Mount Laurel

Topgolf Mount Laurel has just launched a new brunch menu and while brunch is ALWAYS a good idea, it was so much fun to pair our weekend brunch with a fun activity. If you haven’t checked out Topgolf yet, Topgolf is a sports entertainment complex that features an inclusive high tech golf game that everyone can enjoy.

We were greeted with a beautiful day and quickly got into a bay to play some golf! At Topgolf you can eat and order cocktails while playing which is perfect for when it’s not your turn. The complex is pretty large and also has a full bar, pool tables and private event section (I so would love to see my firm do an event here!). We set up our players and first game. I was eager to check out how the technology worked, their systems track your shots and you earn points through various game options against your friends. I’d like to put on record, that I could totally hit the ball and decently! Joey and his buddy still beat me but I had a lot of fun playing and (mostly eating!).

It was nice to have an activity to attend mid-morning and we ordered a round of awesome brunch items. We ate Avocado Toast, Acai Bowls, Buffalo Chicken Sliders and Carrot Cake Mini Waffles. Acai bowls at Topgolf, yep! Topped with coconut shreds and whole plump berries it was the prettiest.

The average play time is about 2 hours so of course we ordered a few apps half way through which were also delicious. Our server was great and didn’t mind all of the questions I had about the game. Topgolf offered clubs for men and women and it was fun to keep track of the scores on the board (even if I wasn’t winning!). Each bay is temperature adjusted so you can play and be comfortable rain or shine.

A few tips for you! You can reserve a bay online which is a great option to ensure there is no wait when you arrive however with 3 full floors of play space I think you’re always good to to go depending on capacity. There is no golf dress code. Save the pleats and golf polos for the course, but if you want to to wear golf clothes that’s fun too. I wore jeans, a tank and sneakers. We ended up going sans kids but after we got there we saw it was a perfect spot for kids and they even have a Kids Zone.

I would highly recommend checking out Topgolf for a fun date night or going with a group of friends or co-workings for some competitive fun. Be sure to check out the new brunch menu #teamwaffles. If you head in I would love to hear about it and answer any questions below!
